Hello, reader. How are you doing? I was interviewed by an artist in New York about radical mental health, trauma, support, and community. Please take a look at this new interview, published day before yesterday. It’s a video!

I like the part where I talk about how you can look through a lens, then not need the lens anymore. Or you could use a key to pass through a gate, then not need the key anymore. That’s how I feel about my mental health diagnoses.
Also I like the part about getting off psych meds and how sad I was that some people liked me more sedated and less full of life. It was an unloved feeling. I haven’t heard other people talk about that, but it must be a common experience for people who get off psych meds.
I wonder how people receive the part about how money can pad us from reality. Some of us are subject to more harshness than others, which affects our health, including our mental health.
Please feel free to share this new interview with friends and anyone who needs these ideas.

Thank Mother God I’m brave, and free to tell the whole truth. Mental health, psychiatry, trauma, and community are a big deal. I collect dots, and then I connect them.
Nadya is a great interviewer– fun to talk to. I’m happy that many people are interested in disability justice and ideas that are more nourishing and complex than big pharma and mainstream medicine.
