drug combinations

Hello, reader.  How are you doing?  Do you like to get high?  Probably most people do, or have liked it in the past.  I like to get high from ecstatic dance, touch with trusted dear ones, maybe a delicious meal.  I don’t like drugs for getting high, but I love a lot of people who do.  So it’s important to know about harm reduction and safety.  I’m thinking about drug combinations.

This wikipedia article has a chart that’s very intriguing.

You have to zoom in a lot to read it–tons of info there!  The org that made it originally seems to be no longer.  But this info could be very important to know.

harm reduction

Maybe more so now that psychedelics are exploding in popularity.  It’s to the point that my friend in divinity schools tells me her school now offers a certificate in psychedelic chaplaincy.  I know people who microdose and also trip.  I have a friend who does frog medicine.  There are so many substances that are psychoactive–I thought there were just a handful.  But so many herbs I’m reading about these days sedate and have other health properties.

Life is full of risk.  I love informed choices, consent, and ways to reduce the risk, to have relative safety as we live full lives.  Harm reduction is my jam.  You know Ming and I love narcan, and Ming is a street medic.  He takes his nurse knowledge and experience and helps people who are at demonstrations or who are underhoused and slipped through the cracks.

Long ago Ming attended raves to help ravers do harm reduction and be safe.  He tested the drugs they took, and that was kindness.  Thank you for saving lives, dear.

It was also a way for Ming to have a role and be involved, but also a little to the side.  Ming loves being helpful, and we appreciate him for that.

thank you

Thank you for caring about yourself and others.  I’ve noticed that drug use and impulsivity can go together.  Some people have a, “Why not?  I’ll try it,” mentality.

I like an adventuresome spirit.  But I’m the kind of guy who wants to have some sense of what I’m getting into.  More knowledge can help me make better choices.  So thinking about drug combinations can help.  It’s a way to love one another.

My housemate reminded me in the kitchen that music can be a way to get high too.  I hope you have all the ways and support you need, to alter your consciousness.

Good at listening to the noise until it makes sense.
