cupid cat, Ming the idea, firefly habitat

A cat dug up the fertilizer spike and left it in front of our door.

Oh!  Why did it do that?

I don’t know.

Maybe it thought we needed fertilizer because we haven’t made any babies yet–we need to be more fertile.  We should have made babies by now.

Maybe!  I guess it’s a cupid cat

Do you have everything you need?

Yeah.

Water?

No.

You need water!  Aren’t you a human?  I heard humans are 70% water or something.

90%.

Oh, but you’re also made of atoms, and atoms are mostly nothing.  So maybe you don’t need water, because you’re mostly nothing.  You’re mostly an idea.

Uh oh!  Mind blowing!

Nana lived across the way from a cowfield.  The fireflies and mosquitoes loved the cowfield.  And a hedgy thing.  A big, weird hedgy thing.
